The Abington Dog Park is owned by the Town of Abington
and operated by the nonprofit, volunteer-run
Friends of Abington Dog Park.
It opened in 2019 with the help of a grant from the Stanton Foundation and generous community support.

There is no residency or permit requirement to use the park. The park has separate areas for big dogs and small dogs. It is open during daylight hours year-round but is not shoveled in the snow. Water fountains are on
from mid-April to mid-November.

Operation and maintenance of the park
is led by volunteers and supported
through fund-raising and user donations.
